Past 6th of February 2020, our partners have attended a conference, organized by the Jacques Delors Institute entitled “Energising the Green Deal: Leading ambitious climate action with social justice and innovation”. You can have a look at the agenda attached.
The conference was particularly relevant for ASSET as the importance of learning and re-skilling/skilling up the population/students/workers was widely tackled by the speakers. Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights Nicolas Schmit particularly stressed the importance of this thematic in his keynote speech.
For those of you who might be interested, you can find attached two documents provided by the organizers on the topic and that we found relevant when trying to understand where ASSET belongs in this new Green Deal (in particular point 4.3 in the Objective 2024 paper).
